Hatha 200 Hour Training

No we are not registered with Yoga Alliance. Why? Because Yoga Alliance does not regulate any of the YA registered teacher programs. Yoga Alliance simply collects money from Yoga Studios and Programs but does not follow up or monitor with the outline provided at registration. This simply means that you are NOT guaranteed a better training by someone registered with Yoga Alliance, it actually means nothing at all as Yoga is unregulated. Talk to the Studio you wish to train with. How many practice teaching hours do they have? How much EXPERIENCE do the facilitators of this training have? I have NEVER been asked if I was registered with YA when applying for teaching jobs, nor have I EVER asked a potential instructor for this. It is quite simply a money grab and there is no value to being registered with Yoga Alliance. That is my experience and I will not endorse an organization that does nothing to better the training of yoga instructors in Canada and simply wants their money. Anyone can be registered, not anyone can teach you to be a great instructor. I can, and we do. Many of my instructors were hired before even finishing our training program. That is how confident I am in the training we offer here at Fountain of Youth. Namaste ~ Penny
